Despite being set in the distant future of the titular year, Cyberpunk 2077 still lets you drive a car in and around Night City. And given how dangerous this neon-soaked future can be, it's pretty damaged. It rarely affects gameplay or your progress, but it doesn't look great. Gamers like their digital car free from scratches or dents, so here's how to fix your car in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to fix your car
Cyberpunk 2077 makes keeping your car in perfect working order very easy. It does this by automatically repairing it over time. That's right, if you're not picky you can keep playing the game and eventually the car will look all shiny and new, but keep reading below if you're a picky gamer. How long does it take to repair? It depends on the damage and what you're doing, so be patient if you can. But if you can't, we have a little tip to help you.
To repair your car almost immediately, you can force a quick auto repair simply by quickly moving to a new location at least a fair distance from where you were. Enough to load a new area, or something to that effect. Once there, all you have to do to repair the car is call yourself to the new location. It's a quick press of a button (V on PC and directly on the D-Pad for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S). Once it reaches you, it should be as new as when you picked it up.
So that's how to fix your car in Cyberpunk 2077. Still, you should probably try not to let it take so much damage. Take care of your car and it will take care of you, I've always been told.
