You can receive a free Diona in Genshin impact during the Energy Amplifier event, and unlike the Lantern Rite Festival, it won't take you long. In fact, you can send Diona an invite to join your party within an hour of the Energy Amplifier event starting; talk about an easy to earn free character!
Genshin Impact – How to earn your free Diona during the Energy Amplifier event.
To redeem your free Diona during Genshin Impact's Energy Amplifier event, you must first unlock the event in full. To start, you must be at rank 20 in the adventure. As long as you are at this rank or above, you will automatically receive the Mr Melancholy quest. It will be in your log, although you can also track it from the Energy Amplifier event page. It's not a difficult quest to complete, but if you want a complete guide, you can read our article here.
Long story short: you'll need to list the first place of interest and the first estate in Act 1 of the event. This will not only unlock the Twisted Kingdom and Energy Amplifier (and indeed the entire event), but you'll also earn Fractured Fruit data, the currency of the event. Diona only costs 1000 Fractured Fruit Data, and you'll earn that and some just by completing Mr Melancholy.
Once you've unlocked the Energy Amplifier event in Genshin Impact, open the event page to see an icon for the free Diona in the bottom left. Select it to send the young bartender an invite to join your party, assuming you still have 1 data on Fractured Fruit and haven't spent it in the shop. You have until May 000 to redeem your free Diona, and you can only do so once. If you already have it in your roster, this is a great way to unlock a Constellation for Diona for free, but if you're like me and have a Diona C24, you'll only get Starglitter through this offer. Yet Starglitter Free is Starglitter Free.
