Battlefield in Foyer can be considered a different game in itself, and with so many new heroes constantly being added, a new List of levels for April 2022, it's the least we can do to help anyone who wants to embark on this exciting journey. Below is a list of all available heroes and where they stand in terms of popularity and effectiveness in the field.
Hearthstone Battlegrounds Hero Tier List for April 2022
There are currently 56 heroes that you can end up having in Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode, and will be divided into four different tier lists, based on their performance in the current meta. The list itself can be quite subjective, as your decks are not only made up of heroes, but minions as well. Depending on exactly which ones you have, the respective situation, a hero can really move up and down this tier list. That said, their overall performance is what's calculated here, so we're not taking every opportunity independently.
Additionally, new heroes are constantly replacing older ones in Battlegrounds mode, so note that the following data takes place at the time of writing this guide. If, for example, you see here a hero who is now deleted, it means that changes have taken place in the game and the guide is not yet updated with the new list. Now let's move on to the tier list of Hearthstone Battlegrounds heroes itself.

Without a doubt, these are the most powerful heroes currently in Battlegrounds. C'Thun is not randomly chosen to top this list, as there is so much versatility and combat prowess in the respective theme decks, which surpasses many heroes on the list. The rest of the list is by no means in order, though, so rest assured you're making a good choice by picking one of the others as your preferred choice.

While the above characters won't dominate the field like those on the S-tier roster, they're just as strong and can be really effective, depending on which minions you have. You can't go wrong with any of these, so feel free to continue your journey with any of them. Just expect a few more problems on your way, which you would otherwise avoid by having an S level.

Generally strong heroes, but with some hiccups. Expect high-efficiency games with them, but it will take a lot more planning ahead, a bit of luck, and good team composition to deliver results like the heroes in the tiers above.

Now this is what you should preferably avoid in general. They're the weakest of the bunch, and you'll definitely have a hard time erasing content. That said, if you put in enough effort and a lot more luck than mentioned above, they can also do what you want them to do. If possible though, avoid them and go for one of the heroes from the levels above.
This wraps up the Battlegrounds hero tier for April 2022, but this list is expected to change soon enough as new heroes are added to the pool and some of the ones here are removed. That's the beauty of Battlegrounds, an ever-evolving battlefield where you can test your skills and enjoy the "automatic combat" vibe it offers, similar to other games of the newly found genre.
