Of the many platforms PC gamers can play on, Valve smoke is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most influential, with hundreds of titles, from independents to AAA. That said, Steam does offer its players a refund service, as PC gamers need to consider many factors before making a purchase. Now, without further ado, here's how to get a refund on Steam.

How to Get a Refund on Steam

For a game to be eligible for a refund on Steam, it must meet two criteria. First, it must have been brought within two weeks, and second, you cannot have played the game for more than 2 hours in total. In the case of DLCs, you can only get a refund if you made the purchase within 14 days and played the main game within two hours of purchasing the content. If you purchased a pre-sale title, you can get a refund any time before the release date. After the title debuts, you'll be able to get the refund within the first two weeks of its release, but only if you've played it for less than two hours. In some cases, even if your request does not meet the above criteria, you can still submit a refund request, but there is no guarantee that it will be approved.

You can request a refund on Steam by following the steps below:

  • Go to Steam Help.
  • Go to Purchases.
  • Browse the list and find the purchase you want to refund.
  • Click on "I bought this by accident".
  • Click on "I want to request a refund".
  • Choose where you want to receive the refund.
  • Submit the request.

After following the steps above, your request will be reviewed and, if approved, you will receive your refund within an average of 7 business days.

You can download smoke now on PC, Mac OS, Android, iOS and Linux devices.
