Minecraft Dungeons Update 1.19 Patch Notes

Update 1.19 has arrived for Minecraft dungeons, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

A new update has now arrived for Minecraft Dungeons and it is one of the biggest fixes this game has ever had. This new update is set up for the Echoing Void DLC. With this DLC, you can expect to see new enemies and new gear to collect.



This free update will also include the Gauntlet of Gales, a brand new mission available to everyone. Apart from that, a ton of bug fixes and improvements have also been made to the game.

The developer also outlined some known issues that the game has also encountered. Anyway, you can read the full patch notes below. The update appears as version 1.19 on PS4, but it is the official patch 1.10.2.0.

Gale Gauntlet

  • Enter the Gauntlet of Gales, a unique maze-like mission that tests your skills through challenging trials and puzzling puzzles! This gauntlet contains challenges that require everything from wits and cunning to endurance and determination. Complete the mission for a chance to find artifacts previously only available as part of the Howling Peaks DLC!

Corrections:


Gameplay

  • Bosses can no longer be instantly killed before spawning (MCD-5585)
  • Diamond Key Golem can no longer get stuck on the other side of the Cacti Canyon door (MCD-5637)
  • Arena battles can now be completed even if a mob has spawned or fallen underground
  • Emeralds can now be picked up by downed players

Ancient Hunts

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the exit door from opening at the end of Ancient Hunts (MCD-5373)
  • Ancient Mob icons on the Ancient Hunt screen are now revealed when defeated (
  • Fixed text alignment on the Ancient Hunt screen
  • It is now possible to remove an item on the Ancient Hunt screen using a keyboard while playing on PC

Weapons, Armor and Artifacts

  • Sponge Striker special effect no longer deals enough damage to instantly kill the player when hitting a mob enchanted with thorns (MCD-5935, MCD-6086)
  • Players can no longer use normal attacks while using Eye of the Guardian which was triggered by Final Shout
  • Windbow now attracts monsters defeated during multiplayer sessions
  • Stopped heavy harpoons changing size after hitting something
  • Crossbow arrows now disappear after hitting geomancer walls (MCD-5979)
  • Fixed Soul Lantern and Wonderful Wheat artifacts showing zero summon damage in their item stats (MCD-5974)

Enchantments and effects


  • Dynamo stacks are now removed when hitting a mob with a Firework Arrow, Quiver of Torment, and Explosive Crossbow (MCD-5939)
  • Dolphin's Grace effect now appears as a separate Quickness icon on the HUD
  • Luck of the Sea now appears on the HUD and added a visual effect to the player when enchantment is enabled
  • Fixed Luck of the Sea enchantment causing golden common items to be incorrectly labeled as unique (MCD-6000)
  • Fixed an exploit that caused Updraft Tome to be spammed repeatedly
  • Dropping Overload no longer leaves Overload visual effects on the player

Environment


  • Players no longer respawn inside the nether portal room door after jumping off a ledge in the camp (MCD-5294)
  • Fixed cactus blocks not having collisions
  • Fixed torch light flashing at night
  • Fixed player shadows casting onto surfaces they shouldn't, like under bridges
  • Fixed force field effect still present after lowering Nether Fortress gates

hidden depths

  • Turtle armor and squid armor can now be sold by camp merchants (MCD-6046)
  • Fixed a hole in Radiant Ravine that was causing players to get stuck (MCD-6159)
  • Players can no longer destroy Ancient Guardian mines (MCD-6222)
  • Fixed Conduit Heart temporarily disappearing after death
  • Fixed corrupted graphics on conduit after walking away from it
  • Fixed the Trident item description to describe its actual ability
  • Fixed missing sound effects for Drowned Necromancer lightning bolts during multiplayer sessions
  • Pufferfish no longer inflate when other pufferfish are nearby
  • Fixed delayed arena battles in the Abyssal Monument
  • Doors no longer close and reopen in Abyssal Monument areas
  • Tridents no longer look huge when stuck in Tropical Slimes
  • Local co-op characters no longer keep walking and fall off the edge during the outro sequence on Radiant Ravine
  • Lightning bolts now deal area damage during night in multiplayer in underwater missions
  • Decreased the time it takes for monsters to despawn after being killed in underwater missions
  • The red sticker is now present during the Night in underwater missions
  • After attacking Squid, ink clouds now spawn more consistently, in a slightly larger area, and last 10 seconds
  • Fixed Oxygen directional markers disappearing completely below the HUD
  • Fixed mobs spawning out of bounds on Radiant Ravine
  • Fixed players getting stuck behind the arena door on the Abyssal Monument
  • Fixed camera obscuration in various areas of Abyssal Monument and Radiant Ravine
  • The “TNT Used” stat no longer appears after underwater missions
  • Snowball enchantment no longer targets pufferfish

creeping winter

  • Lone Fortress intro narration now correctly references the Wretched Wraith
  • Added a mountaineer mob to Frostfjord and Lost Colony
  • Added witch mob to forest segment in Lost Settlement
  • Rebalanced all mob groups in these missions
  • Added more hidden chests, greatly increasing the loot players can get from these missions

Jungle awakens

  • Fixed untextured fence blocks in Jungle Awakens missions (MCD-5667)
  • Fixed Jungle Zombies not dealing poison damage
  • Rebalanced all mob groups in these missions
  • Added more hidden chests, greatly increasing the loot players can get from these missions
  • Animals should now spawn less frequently and not at all in arenas in these missions
  • Added Witches and Large Slimes to Dingy Jungle for better crowd variance
  • Added Skeleton Vanguard and Large Slimes to Overgrown Temple for better crowd variance
  • Added Skeleton Vanguard, Witches, and Large Slimes to the Panda board for better crowd variance

User interface

  • Fixed the Cloud Saves prompt appearing in the main menu whenever a local P2 guest account leaves a session
  • Fixed multiplayer clients sometimes not seeing the damage they deal
  • Removed the cosmetic warning prompt that appeared when downloading a hero equipped with Sinister Cape and/or Baby Pig cosmetics, as these are available to all players (MCD-5808)
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to join an online session after being kicked
  • "Raid Captain Bounty" text is now translated into all supported languages
  • After enchanting an item, the screen narrator can now read the requirements for another level of enchantment
  • Fixed new character not being deleted if exiting the character creation menu with the Esc key

Known issues:

  • A blue background is present behind the character on the Download/Upload Hero screens
  • New Achievement “Burning Up” cannot be unlocked by Clients in Online Multiplayer sessions
  • It is possible to pass the diamond gate in the End Wilds mission, which prevents the objectives from updating and the inability to complete the mission
  • Cutscene missing voiceover localization for Chinese languages
  • Subtitles in Nether DLC mission intros are missing for most languages
