âNOT a viable medical training toolâ
UK developer Bossa is giving free copies of Surgeon Simulator 2 to all NHS staff. And if you work for this great organization, all you have to do is visit this website before October 22nd and register your official NHS email address to receive a pc key for the savage 'n' gory sequel .
âAt Bossa, we have always viewed Surgeon Simulator 2 as a valuable training tool for NHS workers to hone their healthcare skills! said Henrique Olifiers, co-founder of Bossa. âThe Surgeon Simulator 2 community really sucks at saving Bob, so we think our players need to see how it's really done. »
NHS Registrar Dr Idris Morgan takes a very different view.
"Surgeon Simulator 2 is absolutely NOT a viable medical training tool," said Dr. Morgan, adding, "However, I enjoy playing video games in my spare time and I believe healthcare people everywhere will find Bossa's interpretation of medicine, and the possibility of five-second heart transplants, a lot of fun. "
In addition to offering free games, Bossa will host a 24-hour fast-paced charity event on October 15. The event, which aims to raise ÂŁ1000 for the North Lincolnshire NHS Trust, will see a fully qualified NHS surgeon, cardiologist, radiologist and IT specialist compete to achieve a successful heart transplant in the shortest possible time...
âŠin the game, I guess.
