New Team GO Rocket Special Research released with Pokémon GO players receiving the A Shadow of Seven Colors research quest beginning June 17. If it's not yet Thursday in your area, be patient and you will receive it tonight at midnight. Once you get it, you can complete it at any time, but you may need to know what awaits you later in the quest. - Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms – a Sunstone
- Purify 1 Shadow Pokemon – 15 PokeBall
Rewards: 1 XP, 500 Stardust and Gloom

- Vaincre 5 Team GO Rocket Grunts – 5 Hyper Potion
- Catch 5 Shadow Pokemon – 5 Revive
- Purify 3 Shadow Pokemon – 15 PokeBall
Rewards: 2 XP, 000 Stardust and Xatu
Step 3 of 6
- Use 3 super effective charged attacks in gym fights – one Fast TM
- Compete against another manager in the Great League – a loaded TM
- Purify 5 Shadow Pokemon - 15 Ultra Ball
Rewards: 2 XP, 500 Stardust, and a Rocket Radar

- Defeat the leader of Team GO Rocket Arlo - Flareon
- Defeat the leader of Team GO Rocket Cliff - Vaporeon
- Defeat the leader of Team GO Rocket Sierra – Jolteon
