Solar ash's Broken Capital is a sprawling metropolis in the clouds where Voidrunner Caches easily hide. With a lot of verticality, it can be more than a little tricky to find where all the hidden caches are. Without further ado, here's how to find all five Broken Capital caches in Solar Ash.

Solar Ash is a 3D action-adventure platformer that's as beautiful as it is fun. Heart Machine's second game, following their hit Hyper Light Drifter, is another slam dunk. While you're enjoying the stunning world of Solar Ash, be sure to check out our Solar Ash guides for help on collecting all the caches in each level and how to beat the bosses. Collecting all five caches will give you a costume. If you're looking for help collecting plasma, this is definitely the combination for you.

Shaft cover

The first cache in Broken Capital spawns before the skyscraper ruins. In the forest section that leads to the Shattered Capital proper, there's a tree to the right of the entrance with a Voidrunner sigil on it. Every cache in the game is marked with a Voidrunner sigil, so finding them is essential. Once you find the tree, just follow the clouds under this section of the map and you'll find the cache on a patch of forest.

Statue Cache

As you go up the forest section of Broken Capital, you'll unlock railroad towers that act as safety nets in the event of a fall. Once you've unlocked the second railroad tower, you'll see a Voidrunner sigil near the window. Jump out the window onto the statue's hands. Climb to its head and you will find the cache.

Fountain Cache

As you pass through the fountain area where Lyris is located, you'll take a rail down into the main section of Broken Capital. Before you take off, go up the rail, but once you see a grapple point, swing on it towards the black slime on the wall. Once you've scaled this, you'll find a missing section of the wall where you can look into the fountain area. On this section will be your cache.

railway cache

The next cache starts to the right of the start of the Broken Capital section. You will see a group of stinger enemies and to their left is a train stop and a rail leading to the building. Take the rail, but be sure to jump on the black slime before you hit the trains. Once you've climbed the black slime, hop onto the rail on the other side of the trains. This will take you to a building to the right of the entrance. After killing two enemies, you will find the cache in the upper part of this building.

Cover on the roof

The hardest to get but easiest to see is the cache on the roof. You will first need to climb one of the central buildings. Once you're on the central building which is flat and has an anomaly, look over the edge to find a rail leading to another building with tons of enemies on it. Be careful dispatching all enemies. Once done, climb up to where you will see a grappling hook trail. The trail will take you to the final building where you will get the last cache.

You have now successfully captured all caches in Broken Capital in Solar Ash. Once all the caches have been collected, you will be rewarded with Erving's costume. It's called Aegis Wellspring and will double your plasma intake. Replacing shields will be a breeze with this combination.
