The Sims 1.47 Update 4 Patch Notes

Update 1.47 has arrived for Les Sims 4, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

The new update includes bug fixes and several new features, including a brand new trait and three new aspirations. The update is released on September 7, 2022 and comes approximately 2 weeks after the release of Patch 1.46 in late August 2022.

Three new aspirations and a new trait

The road to well-being is long but worth it! Sims can now choose three ambitious paths to achieve their own Zen:

• Personal Care Specialists – For Sims who want to monetize their love of fitness and wellness.
• Inner Peace – For Sims who want to achieve ultimate harmony and learning tools to ease negative emotions.
• Zen Guru – For Sims who want to share the power of wellness with the world… the whole world, for real. They also focus on finding the training of their successor to pass on the knowledge.

In addition to these new aspirations, we've added a new trait for Sims who need a little extra work to keep their needs…properly aligned. High maintenance will allow your Sims to perform mindful tasks that can help their sense of well-being. No problem is insignificant, no need is too much.

You can find these new aspirations and the new trait in Create a Sim. And don't forget the spa membership included with these aspirations – it's a bargain!

Manicures and pedicures

Some people like to have a massage to decompress – a worthy option…I definitely need one – but my favorites are manicures and pedicures! Listen to me! There's something so relaxing about choosing your design, color, shape, and having someone to beautify (yes, that's a word…to me) your nails with the utmost care. Now your Sims can get these nail enhancements or gift them to other Sims for free. You can choose a design, a shape, and voila! Your Sims' nails will look as fabulous as they look!

And if you don't want to get your nails done on a shoestring professional budget, totally do it – Sims will have access to the same options in Create A Sim that you can instantly apply to your Sims nails – it's like instant nails ! ! You can choose from a variety of shades with color combinations, patterns or just a solid color for each nail. You can also choose a variety of solid color choices for your nails. You can find them in the Accessories category of Create a Sim, where you will see a Fingernails and Toenails sorting with the options.

We want to point out that in this upgrade to Spa Day, we have a design of the wonderful Ebonix that is featured in Create a Sim! Ebonix is ​​a super talented Sims designer, and we are happy to be able to showcase one of her creations and share it with everyone.

About yoga and meditation

Yoga classes can now take place outside of spas and gyms! You can hire a yoga instructor or teach your own class from the instructor's yoga mat. Speaking of teaching, Sims can also lead guided meditation sessions from the meditation stools. Oh, and I don't want to forget to mention that kids can also practice and teach yoga and meditation!

New items, face masks… Oh my!

As part of this update, we've also added a few new items and samples to Build Mode, including a luxurious new massage table and massage chair that can also be used for manicures and pedicures for a relaxing experience. complete. And as a bonus, there's a new portable massage chair and table, so your Sims can give massages, manicures, and pedicures on the go to earn Simoleons.

On top of that, we've added as part of your Sims' self-care routine the ability to purchase and apply face masks. They come in a variety of benefits and designs; for ease of access, we recommend that you have Doc Sweet's Luke-Warm Mini Dispenser in your favorite bundle. This mini version of the original fridge can hold your favorite drinks in a compact space, but as an added bonus, Sims can purchase face masks here. By the way, don't forget to try the new Cucumber Power-Sip and Cucumber Slices for a tasty snack! Also available with this update.

Base Game Updates

For those who don't own Spa Day, we also wanted to please you. For Base Game Simmers, we've added fingernail and toenail nail options in Create A Sim for your enjoyment. As mentioned earlier, there will be choices under the Nails and Toenails sort in Create a Sim, there will be a variety of solid nails and color combinations available for the base game itself.

• We fixed an issue where some commands when players are in The Sims 4 Game Options menus were a bit off, this should work fine now.

Les Sims 4

• New games should no longer experience automatic generation of empty hearths, and the resulting increase in save size and performance lag. The team is still investigating how to safely patch existing savegames that exhibit this issue.
• We fixed an issue that affected custom content chairs which, when paired with certain objects, created routing issues for Sims.
• Sometimes in some saves, Sims would lose their names when visiting certain lots – most notoriously the Goths lot, but it could happen anywhere. If a Sim has no name… does this Sim exist? I can assure you that the Goths were not involved, but this problem should no longer occur.
• Have you ever needed to order food or drinks, but just couldn't be bothered? I was there, but fixed the issue of Sims and NPCs not being able to order food and drinks autonomously. Order away!
• Have you noticed your Sims doing fitness or dancing exercises if they don't like those things? Strange no? That shouldn't happen again as long as they continue to dislike them, of course. As a side note, unfortunately (for those concerned), Sims are subject to choosing the music they still don't like from any stereo so they can still torment other Sims (and Simmers) around them.
• We fixed an issue where the Mega Window (Double Budget Grand Deluxe DeLite) in build mode was missing some samples and showing them as empty.
• Let's talk about Unibrows! Are they in? Are they out? Regardless, every eyebrow is welcome! We fixed an issue that didn't make the thicker unibrow available for female-mounted Sims and didn't make the thinner unibrow available for male-mounted Sims. So all unibrows for both mounts!
• Have you ever noticed an invisible slot under the All Things table? We sure did, and while I think if it's called “all things,” it could have all things, everywhere…I guess? This was not acceptable, so we fixed this.

• The yfHair_EP01TwistLow hairstyle in The Sims 4 has been correctly tagged in the Updo Hairstyle category. Is it still an Updo even if the bun is low and not high? These are the questions I sometimes ask myself.

Eco-friendly lifestyle

• If you've noticed that the community voting board is missing from all Build Mode pack sites, fear not. It has been found and should be safely back in Build Mode.
