There's only one place to find Ditto in Sword and Shield: Lake Outrage in the Wilderness. Located in the northeast corner of the huge Wild Areas map, this island is isolated and can be ignored by most players. Luckily, Ditto spawns regardless of weather conditions, but even knowing where Ditto spawns may not be enough to catch it.

Once you get to the island, Ditto shouldn't be too rare. It spawns about 20% of the time a Pokemon spawns.
