Electrivir is considered one of the best Electric-type Pokémon on Shiny Diamond Pokémon et Shining Pearl Pokémon, but in order to obtain the Power Plant, no pun intended, players must first obtain Elekid, its first form. That said, now we are going to tell you where to find Elekid in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, how to get Elekid in Pokémon Shining Pearl, as well as how to evolve the Pokémon in both versions.
Where to catch Elekid in Pokémon Shining Diamond
Unfortunately, as you might have guessed, just like Magby, Magmar, and Magmortar are Shining Pearl exclusives, Elekid, Electabuzz, and Electivire can only be found on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond. But that doesn't mean Shining Pearl players can't get the Pokemon, as we'll cover how to do that later. That said, Brilliant Diamond players can obtain Elekid by traveling to the Great Underground, specifically Whiteout Cave, Stargleam Cavern, Glacial Cavern, or Dazzling Cave. To find the Pokémon in either location, simply walk up to one of them, exit, and enter until you spot the Pokémon. If you want to level your Elekid up to an Electivire, be sure to catch an Elekid holding an energizer.

- Go to the Great Underground.
- Go to Whiteout Cave, Stargleam Cavern, Glacial Cavern or Dazzling Cave.
- Spot an Elekid, fight it, and capture it.
How to get Elekid in Pokemon Shining Pearl
As we promised, those playing the Shining Pearl version can obtain Elekid by trading with players currently playing the Brilliant Diamond version. You can trade Pokémon at the many Pokémon Centers featured in the game.
How to evolve Elekid in Electabuzz
After you get an Elekid, you can evolve them into Electabuzz by leveling them up to level 30. After evolving into Electabuzz, be sure to evolve them into Electirizer, so you can unlock one of the best Electric-type Pokemon available.
